General
Information
 The
essence of Balinese culture is found in the exquisite rice
paddies village of Mas-Ubud. Overlooking the rice fields and
Mount Agung in the distance stands - the fragrant garden -
Taman Harum Cottages.
In the cool and breezy of the rice field, 17 traditional rooms
and Cottages are spread across the side of rice fields and
lush tropical garden. In each, the Balinese architecture,
décor, fine painting is of hotel standard while all
the modern conveniences expected by the discerning international
traveller are here. All are air-conditioned and have exotic
garden bathrooms, convey the essence of the tropic.
Taman Harum Cottages - The Fragrant Garden - is more than
just a hotel. It is an idyllic setting perfectly located at
the centre of the art and craft villages of Bali, This area
is home to some of Bali's best artist and woodcarver including
your host at Taman Harum Ida Bagus Tantra, known worldwide
as one of Bali's most renowned wood carvers.
 A
unique cultural experience, where Bali's past, present and
future can be enjoyed within the setting of the hotel, surrounded
by the beautiful rice paddies of Mas / Ubud all the way to
the sacred mount Agung in the distance. Embodies the quiet

& lush tropical garden landscape and fish ponds.
Taman Harum complex consists of 17 lovely rooms, reception
pavilions restaurant, bar, swimming pool with a view of rice
paddies, yoga/meditation room, aerobic class, woodcarving
studio & workshops and a Balinese compound where we arrange
tuition, classes and cultural activities.
Rooms
 All
rooms are large and airy, air-conditioning, overhead fan,
telephone. Deluxe marble bathrooms are delight to every sense
and most of the room feature a secluded outdoor shower in
a private garden. Mini bar, mosquito net + coils, Hair Dryer,
towels and fresh drinking water. International direct dial
phone, writing desk, wardrobe, side table and headboard. Each
has a private terrace with tropical garden view.
Non-smoking rooms are also available, Voltage: 220 Volt. Satellite
TV Program and Movie are available at The Bar.
All rooms are furnished in Balinese, feature a valuable collection
of original paintings, sculptures, fine furniture and carefully
chosen fabrics.

take part in arrange of customs and activities that are integral
to Balinese culture, mixing with expert instructors in a variety
of lesson and activities which are fun as well as educational.

including Balinese dance & music, cooking, batik painting,
woodcarving, temple offering, rice paddies walking and MORE.
We are in close distance of Ubud with our complimentary shuttle
ready to bring you there and explore the beauty of Ubud.
 We
can arrange any tours and activities or help you devise an
independent adventure; rafting, hiking, water sports, golf
and more.
